Saint Seiya (圣 闘 士 星矢, Seinto Seiya?), Known as the Knights of the Zodiac in Latin America and Spain, is a manga and anime series then a gender shōnen originally created by Japanese artist Masami Kurumada. First published January 1986 in manga format in the magazine Shonen Jump, then the adjustment was made in a series of 114 television episodes, three OVA with 31 total episodes, 5 movies and several continuations of the original manga and remain in force so far. Argument Series focuses on the story of a group of young warriors called Saints (or Knights in various translations), who fight to protect the Greek goddess Athena from the forces of evil. To fight, the Saints only use your internal energy (called cosmos), their fists and armor that will also serve proteccióny constellations are inspired by creatures of Greek mythology and Scandinavian (Asgard).
